Tropical Manicure, $25
The base tier, and it is a full manicure on its own: detailed cuticle grooming, nail shaping, a relaxing hand massage with a hot towel wrap, and your choice of polish.
Book Tropical when your hands are doing fine and just need tidying and color. If you bite your nails or keep them short, short and bitten nails can still get a manicure. If the skin around a bitten nail is sore, swollen or broken, see a doctor before you book.
Paradise Luxe Manicure, $35
Ten dollars more, and the list grows by three items: everything in the Tropical Manicure, plus a soothing mud mask, an exfoliating scrub and a paraffin treatment to lock in moisture.
Paraffin, in general, is warm wax. Applied to the hands, it sets into a thin coat, and that coat holds heat against the skin while it works, giving the moisture underneath a better chance to sink in before a dry room pulls it back out. It is worth skipping paraffin over skin that is broken or irritated, since warm wax and heat are not meant for an open patch of skin. Ask when you book if you are unsure whether paraffin is right for your skin that day.
Pick what your hands need first. The polish color is the easy decision after that.

Aloha Glow, $45
The top tier, and it builds on the same Tropical base with its own extras: everything in the Tropical Manicure, plus a mud mask, a scrub, a hot stone massage, collagen gloves and a steamer for silky-soft hands.
In general, a hot stone massage uses warmth to relax the hand, and a steamer works on the skin’s surface, softening it so a moisturizing step can sink in more easily. Collagen gloves add a warm, snug layer on top, holding that moisture against the skin while it works.
Gel Polish On A Manicure
Each of the four spa pedicures lists No-Chip Gel Polish as a +$15 add-on. The manicures list “your choice of polish,” with no gel line or price. If you want gel on your hands, ask when you book.
In general, gel polish cures under a UV or LED lamp, which is why it tends to resist chipping longer than a regular polish that air-dries on its own. That same curing step is why removing gel calls for a proper soak-off once it is time for a new color.
Choosing A Tier For A South Jordan Winter
The Salt Lake Valley sits at high elevation and stays dry most of the year, and winter makes it harder once the furnace starts running. Indoor heating lowers the humidity inside a South Jordan house, and drier air pulls moisture from skin. Hands, washed often and out in the cold, feel it first.
